The Freedom Honor Flight mission wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of our community. Veterans deserve a hero’s welcome and you can be a part of making that happen! Whether you have a few hours to spare on flight day or are part of a group looking to make a bigger impact, there are many ways to get involved with Freedom Honor Flight.
Make a lasting impact
Become a guardian
Each veteran is assigned a guardian who provides one-on-one assistance during the trip, whether they need it or not. Guardians ensure their safety and comfort and help create lasting memories. You do not need to know a veteran on the flight to be a guardian.
Fundraising makes a flight
Does your company offer a charitable giving program? Consider nominating Freedom Honor Flight to receive a donation! You can also rally your community with a fundraiser like a pancake breakfast, bake sale or other event to raise funds for the next flight.
Groups making a big impact
Marching bands, community organizations and other groups play a special role in every flight. Bands can welcome our heroes home with a moving performance at the airport, and groups interested in volunteering can connect with us to find opportunities that fit their members.
