Enjoy great music while supporting our veterans!

About the La Crosse Coulee Chordsmen
Formed in January of 2021, barbershop quartet Coulee Classic is based out of La Crosse, Wisconsin. This acapella singing group strives for energetic, authentic, and entertaining performance with freely produced vocals and tons of ringing chords. They won the Land O’ Lakes district contest in October of 2021.
Repertoire ranges from straight-on classic barbershop to country-cover-bar-songs to vocal jazz to traditional choral, and more. Find them on stage at a formal performance or find them singing for drinks at a local tavern; this group of diverse personalities brings audiences of all types together by doing what they love – connecting through harmony.

Flight 25 scheduled for September 11
In 2020, Freedom Honor Flight made the difficult decision to suspend flights until it was again possible to fly veterans safely. In July of this year, hubs across the nation received the green light from National Honor Flight (NHF) to resume flights. Freedom Honor Flight was ready and quickly organized two fall flights.
Flight 25—September 11, 2021
Flight 26—October 9, 2021
The organization is thrilled to return to its mission of honoring veterans by flying them to see the memorials built in their honor. Veterans fly for free, accompanied by guardians who pay their own way. The single-day itinerary includes a welcome in Washington, D.C., and visits typically include the WWII Memorial, the Korean War Veterans Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery and other sites via luxury motorcoaches.
Families and friends can send off and welcome home the veterans at Colgan Air Hangar 4. Send off is 6–7 am. The flight is expected to return between 9 and 10:30 pm. A tent will be provided.

Did you know, the reflection of the Korean War Veterans Memorial mural wall creates the image of 38 statues, symbolic of the 38th parallel and the 38 months of the war.
